Scenario:
The year is 1998, fifty-three years after the Germans won World War II.  For twenty years after 1945, Germany sat in a political deadlock against America in a sort of an extreme Cold War, the rest of the world having fallen to economic ruin and anarchy.  When aliens arrived in Siberian Germany in 1965, however, Emperor Hitler immediately captured them, and used them and their offspring to wage a campaign of horrendous destruction across the planet. By 1980, Germany had conquered all of Indo-Europe and had reduced the rest of the world, including the now destitute America, to economic and political ruin.

In 1990, a secret multi-national alliance was formed in Neu Amerika between the few surviving soldiers and generals, as well as men and women of honour and liberty. Working fervently in their Headquarters outside of Last Hope, Arizona, which was an infamous stronghold of freedom fighters, the new alliance developed a liberation plot against the aging Führer and his totalitarianistic genocidal Empire. The team of 20 of their most experienced, bravest operatives was to break into the tightly-guarded and heavily-armed castle of Himmelburg, the central operation point of Hitler's Empire. Led by the world-famous soldier of fortune, Duke Nukem, the strike was to take place today, March 15th, 1998, but something has gone horribly wrong. The entire team, save Duke, has been systematically eliminated by Hitler's highly-effective assassins, leaving Duke to bring down the Empire alone.

By the sheer luck of sneaking aboard an Empire Transport ship and swimming 4 miles to the island, Duke finds himself at the doors of Himmelburg, the secluded command fortress on a secret island in the South Atlantic. It's up to him to make his way in, massacre the cohorts of alien guards, and find his way to the Nuclear Reactor in the very depths of the heavily-protected fortress, and destroy it before the Führer's forces can destroy him and put an end to the world's last hope of freedom.
